Pairsley

Privacy policy

No account. Your progress stays on your phone.

Draft of 22 October 2026. Applies to the Pairsley app for iOS and Android.

Pairsley is not released yet. This page describes the version in testing. The full policy will be here before the app is in the stores.

The short version. Pairsley has no account and no sign-up. Your levels, stars and settings stay on your device. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, and AdMob uses device data to show and measure those ads. Pairsley Pro removes the ads. The Pro purchase goes through the App Store or Google Play, and RevenueCat confirms it with an anonymous ID.

Who is responsible

Pairsley is made by João Manuel Gomes, an independent developer in Zurich, Switzerland. For any question about this policy or your data, write to support@pairsley.app.

What stays on your device

Your phone's backup, iCloud or Google, can include this data. Deleting the app deletes it.

Ads in the free version

The free version shows a full-screen ad after some cleared levels, from level 20 on, and a video ad when you ask for an extra heart or a deck trial. Google AdMob provides these ads. To show, measure and protect them from fraud, AdMob collects data such as your device's advertising ID, your approximate location from your IP address, and how you interact with the ads.

Before the first ad, the app tells you about the ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google then asks for your consent. On iPhone, Apple then asks if the app may track you. If you say no, you still get ads, but they are not personalised. Google explains its use of data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

The Pro purchase

Pro is a one-time purchase through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle your payment, and your payment details never reach the app. RevenueCat confirms and restores the purchase. It receives an anonymous ID that the app makes on your device, and the store receipt. It does not receive your name or your email address. See revenuecat.com/privacy.

Usage statistics

Settings has a "Share usage data" switch. It is off unless you turn it on. The current version sends no usage statistics, even when the switch is on. If a later version uses a statistics service, this page will name it first.

Children

Pairsley is made for adults and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Swiss data protection law and, in the European Union, the GDPR give you rights over your personal data. The developer holds no personal data about you. For data that Google or RevenueCat hold, see their policies above. For any concern, write to support@pairsley.app.

Changes to this policy

When the app changes how it handles data, this page changes too, with a new date at the top.
